Welcome to EURODINAME III - An International Symposium on Dynamic Problems of Mechanics

After 2 editions of EURODINAME in Kleinwalsertal, Austria in 1988 and in Ulm, Germany in 1999, we are proud to announce the third edition of EURODINAME in 2026 to be held in France!

This will be a very special edition of the international symposium on dynamic problems of mechanics (DINAME) that usually takes place in Brazil, and will be a unique occasion to discuss the latest advances on this topic.

Since 1986, DINAME has attracted the active participation of scientists, academics, graduate students, and engineers from Brazil and various other countries to share, discuss, and present the recent developments and state-of-the-art techniques related to dynamic problems of mechanics.

The Symposium is traditionally held in hotels located in quiet and pleasant sites, away from overcrowded areas, in an immersion regime. This enables cross-fertilization of ideas, solid scientific exchange, and participant socialization.

Also, a single-session format is adopted for the oral presentations to promote an effective exchange of knowledge and viewpoints between experts in the various research areas covered by DINAME.

EURODINAME III will keep DINAME's signature in terms of organization, while moving to Europe. Giens peninsula on the French Riviera is the perfect place to keep the original spirit of DINAME. Past, current and future interactions between researchers in the field of dynamics in Brazil and Europe will be highlighted during these 3 days. Newcomers and students are also encouraged to participate and catalyze new expertise in the broad area of dynamics.

The topics of special interest include (but are not limited to): structural dynamics and vibrations, nonlinear dynamics, rotor dynamics, smart and advanced structures, damage detection and structural health monitoring, dynamics of metastructures and metamaterials, robotics and mechatronic systems, uncertainty quantification and stochastic mechanics, inverse problems, parameter estimation and identification, acoustics and vibroacoustics, vehicle dynamics, multibody systems, control of mechanical systems.

To preserve its inherent characteristics, the Symposium is usually restricted to approximately one hundred oral presentations and a few poster sessions, covering theoretical, numerical, experimental, practical, industrial and interdisciplinary advancements according to the Symposium themes.

EURODINAME provides an excellent opportunity for researchers with various backgrounds working on different specialized topics of dynamic problems of mechanics to share ideas, experiences, and progress and explore future directions and perspectives in this fascinating field of science and technology which is the area of dynamics.
